His point wasn't that Europeans were bad. It's that it shouldn't really matter who they think ought to win our election, because they neither live nor pay taxes here.

... took his campaign for change to hundreds of thousands of people who don't even vote or pay taxes here. But let me hasten to say that it's not what he took there that concerns me. It's what he brought back: European ideas that give the government the chance to grab even more of our liberty and destroy our hard-earned livelihood.

Whoops. That should all be in quotation, and should be attributed to Huckabee. Watch the video at about 4:38 to see him say it himself. His point was not "that it shouldn't really matter who [Europeans] think ought to win our election." His point was that Europeans would "grab ... our liberty" and "destroy our hard-earned livelihood." He's clearly treating "European" as a bad word - one that's dangerous to our liberty and livelihood
