Reading that from your point of view, it almost seems like feminism was either invented or warped by men... the idea of power in promiscuity seems very convenient for them.

And using self mutilation to sell snowboards is sick. Why don't we just slap bulemia on bicycles while we're at it!

Haha I got distracted and angry by my side-track about the snowboards and therefore never came back to the point I was trying to make. The conclusion of this little rant was supposed to be: I am glad there re feminists out there who recognize this paradox and am interested in learning more; but was instead: I have failed to prove my point. =P

hey! i actually wrote that gender agenda post, im so happy you liked that post!

"What bothered me the most, however, was reading articles about how women should not be ashamed of stripping, having lots of random sex, etc. I was under the impression that this was one of the most important agendas of feminism: the right of every woman to act like a slut and not feel bad about it."

this book: http://www.amazon.com/Female-Chauvinist-Pigs-Raunch-Culture/dp/product-description/0743249895 is freaking fabulous and i think it addresses some concerns that you mentioned. let me know if you end up reading it!
