No matter how big they are if they have balls and you hit em they are going down. I would be right now hunting down Rodney to introduce him to "mr.friendly".

I'll be over later today for round 2 of Stepen vs. GMC Truck and will bring some ativ for you to help until you can get in.

Thanks on the ativ.... that probably will help... it sure did last time.

As for rodney, when I clear rehab, my dad and I are goingt o talk to Wyandotte Hospital about a litle thing called patient abuse and see if he gets to keep his licence, and if I even get charged for my visit at all.

If I had an orderly like that I would eat his liver with a nice chianti.

Oh, yay. Orderlies with the Mall Security Guard syndrome. They have a little power and it goes straight to their head.

Honestly, if you had your birth certificate, and all that other documentation, I'd be on the phone to the head of the first rehab center to explain what happened. You were begging for help and somebody turned you away on what was essentially a triviality, which then led you to several more traumatic experiences.

Wow, that's some wild story. Trust me when I tell you that your recollection of what transpired is probably not the way things went down. Especially If your blood alcohol level was that high. I've dealt with patients that don't remember accurately most of their behavior during the first few days of detox. An orderly cannot order restraints. An orderly cannot even receive an order for restraints. An orderly does not have a license. An order has to be given to a nurse from a physician. The ordering physician has to see you in person as well. If the physician determines you are a risk to yourself or others, you can be restrained.

I worked on a unit at Botsford Hospital that had three 'detox' rooms. I've seen it all. Trust me, your version of the story is most likely not even close to what actually happened. What you are going to find out during treatment is that you had better learn to listen and do things the way you are told to do them. That's the best advice I can give.

The thing is, when they did my BAC right after restraint, it was .19, which In my experience, leaves you pretty cognizant. Maybe he was told I was the .45 guy and was a little afraid I was going to run for it, but when he told me to sit down, I did INSTANTLY. And if I was being scary, how come my normal nurse came in 20 min later and pulled the restraints and was apologizing for my treatment?

I dunno. The whole thing was traumatic. Still, I got a look at my charts and there was no "No-Contact" order, so denying a call to my family was a violation of patient rights, according to the thing I read on the wall, petition or not.
