so far i love it--it's so easy to find a beautiful view. and i love the cliffs and mountains i just see driving along.

are there any particularly great day hikes? the biggest thing i'm afraid of is just sitting in my house and not making the most. even though just saying the phrase "making the most" makes me feel old

Email probably would be easier for me, I don't really get on this very much any more.

As for hikes, there are a TON of day hikes. Aiea loop is a beautiful and easy one. If you like Water Falls and jumping from scary heights, Maunawili Falls is fun. Hawaii Loa Ridge is a little more physically challenging, and my all time favourite. I do that one at least once every time I go back. Just make sure it's a clear day for that one! It can be very disappointing to get to the top if all you see are clouds.
