Because I need to rant pitifully about an ex -
My ex keeps talking about "the best Rip Van Winkle cosplayer" ...
y'know, I cosplay Rip Van. I call other Rip Van cosplayers better than me.
but it really bugs me when he makes it sound like others are better than I am - it really, really makes me want to hit him. A LOT V_____V;; I'm not the best but ... just, really, Mr. Ex - SHUT UP! stop being a git. stop blathering! stop saying that expo will be cheaper because you won't go by where I live. stop saying that it's too sunny when I remark it's a wonderful day. stop moaning about differences between your costume and reldaguru's. I DO NOT CARE IF YOU ARE TALKING TO RIPJE. I DO NOT KNOW THAT PERSON. HER BROTHER'S COSTUME BEING LESSER THAN YOURS DOES NOT MATTER TO ME. ripje has her own thing and she makes a damn fine scary rip van winkle. I like her stuff, I think it's great. just don't talk to me about other cosplayers who do the same character as me. it's a sensitive issue because I generally stay away from comparing myself to other ones and you just telling me how great they are makes me feel inadaquate and upset. ( I'm not even going to do Paine from FFX-2 because I've seen one around and don't wanna step on her toes.)
