Oh gawd. I'm having a cry fest purely because of this one song. Damn it's so moving. Need to make sure I won't watch Grilled Cheesus in public. Ever. Also this is clearly a song I can't upload in my mp3-player with the same reason... Damn. Because I really like this version as much as the original.

That was so beautiful and so terribly sad. To see him with a father who understood him broke my heart in such a good way.

Can you tell me the story of why he was crying? Why were they in the cemetery? Did his mother die?

Yes, his mother died in the past so it's a flashback and during that singing scene and in fact nearly the whole episode his dad was in a hospital unconscious after a serious heart attack. Parts of that episode are so sad it's instant waterfalls for me everytime I watch it because his dad is so awesome and I don't want him to die, even though I now know he won't but still. I think this father-son relationship is one of the best things in Glee. If you're, interested, this vid explains it all so well (I hope the link works...): http://www.limerickmedia.com/Kurt.mov... )

Sorry. :/ That episode is so tearfull, both this song and 'One of Us' make me cry always. Somehow I just love that in a "hey, let's clean the tearducts!" -way. Whatever, I'm so happy most of the time it's good to cry for something not happening IRL. Now I'm listening the original versio and I'm somewhat awed how they turned that happy song into a sad one. (Also I wanna listen Yesterday but that'll make me cry for sure again, so I don't know if I will. Damn, why am I having such weeping sort of days now?)
