threw out all my old school stuff including my bag that iv had since year 7. i found about half of our cutlery draw in the bottom of one of the scungy pockets along with the usual assortment of rusty wire stolen from the art block, old letters from year 10 and the usual unidentifiable item (or tuperware container) of food. i think mine used to be

my parents are accusing me of stealing/losing all the forks. I don't want to empty my bag in case it's true, so it still lies, crumpled, mostly empty, and forlorn on my floor where I bump into it about 378000000000 times a day.

Have you seen the line-up (so far) for Big Day Out? Muse will be there, and the Presets, and Eskimo Joe... I really really don't want to miss it, but I probably will with work/uni/etc :(

I am surprisingly unconcerned about exams, except every night I lie there for a second and suddnely start thinking OH GOD GOING TO FAIL PANIC until sleep takes over. But by morning study seems like a luxury when there is still assessment to go (dammit it's not fair we still have an essay) and parents refuse to stop going on about housework... if I complain that I need to study sometimes you know, then they reply that I don't actually seem to be studying very much, which is so undeniably true I can never win...

the presets were great last bdo - my highlight of the day. not to mention the silent disco...you wear headphones and dance and can switch between 2 stations played by the 2 dj's on the floor. its funny when you take the headphones off because then everyone is dancing to nothing. i spent about 3 hours there last year...so much fun!
im not too keen on all the emo this year but hanging out for the next few lineups. you should come, its always fun and there is plenty of merch shopping to be had!

ooo, i like my bloody valantine - not emo as the name suggests (have you heard them?) come down on the train with me and who ever else goes, we stay at LARGE hotel on the harbour (cheap and chic) stay down for a few days and do bdo, surry hills, the markets, galleries. generally by cool and 'bohemian'. dig?
