Today I must make a phone call to the homeland, Illinois, to say Happy 75th Birthday to 
...Sending his one of his presents today maybe another one tomorrow. Often I get stuff there on time for birthdays and fathers day often it's sort of after the fact but he gets a phone call. I do bettier with getting xmas gifts there before xmas, every year. He'll be like "Oh, dont send anything." but then he'll like getting stuff. Not only does he tell me he likes it, later, but Laurie tells the truth right up front and she knows stuff. A dvd of the movie Cars is one of them. The hat my new gig gave me that he might actually use quite a bit. A DVD game that he might enjoy alone or might have trouble enlisting others to join him in playing. I know I would have a rough time getting people to play it and then i'd be bored once we got it rolling, but I am too easily bored. It seemed like it would be so fun but then I tried it at wrrk on KRs dvd player, and ... Well, things that seem tedious to me are fun for others. He probably likes sodoku, for that matter. And I am SO not even going there. In the time it takes to solve even one little part of those you could have come up with an ingenious way to increase both the efficiency and feng shui of your furniture. But then, I said I wasn't going there.
It seemed that I have a lot to blog about but now that I'm doing it the time doesn't seem right. Short head cold last week, bettier now. Must call Larry about loud exhaust system on car. Lots going on in my head that isn't ready for broadcast yet. Glad it's gonna get ten degrees warmer in the next few hours. Wish I could find my eyeglasses.
