First you know that I am not trying to make light of your situation cuz it sucks. But if I can offer a few theories..
1) The Shrub found out that you may have heard on the internets that he knows how to parallel park. Which, you know what that means. Anyway, he sent his puppetmaster, Karl Rove to come and confiscate the evidence. The Shrub misdirected Karl Rove and instead of taking your computer and wire tapping your phone, he told him to take your car stereo. (Plausible???)
2)A former crutch weilding co-worker, accidently banged into your dash, causing your stero to fall out and thus getting lost in her floral, crazed moo-moo.
3) Someone, with awesome musical taste, had heard some groovy tunes coming from the Bradymobile and thought that they needed a little Sunshine day themselves...
4) Char was looking for her lighter. (The big one)
5) Hillary - she is worried about ice cube on paper plate in 08.
6) One of the many friends from Hawaii. (There are like 1000 of them right?_

Those theories make as good of sense as any i've heard from the gum-snapping management here!
Waiting on lots of callbacks and getting lots of good ideas on the email. Sorry i missed your call - was on the phone with prepaid legal when you dialed. They said they could send a letter of some sort, if i go ask questions (which i will be overtly recording their answers to) of the mgmt/landlords and if i get answers that sound like they have been negligent. (which might explain why the flyer i emailed everyone has so many inconsistencies in the first paragraph alone !)
