Has it ever been this cold, since I moved to Madison over fifteen years ago? It's way below zero, not even factoring in the wind chill. Like 13 below, 16 below, something like that. If you can stay inside. I will go out later, much later. It's gonna be cold all week, so there's not much point in taking off work just tonight. Laurie says it's warming up in Central Illinois now, and she and my dad will be okay. I was hoping the vfw burial detail would not do any outdoor ceremonies last weekend, but he did one. Mostly it was indoors the part where he had to say a little piece about departed vets or something, then the part where they go outside and shoot the rifles was only about ten minutes. I am glad the car is underground here, and I wish the third-shifters could use the underground parking at wrrk. It's not like anyone else really uses it at night, except some of the bigwigs i think store vehicles and boats down there, I've heard.
