I haven't played the game myself, but I watched my other half play it. He managed to get all 121 or something stars within a 15 hour turnaround.
But I do know that the music is lovely, it really is a major element of the game. I like the sweet music that plays when Rosalina reads from her storybook! ^^

Woah, 15 hours? I've had the game since it came out (November, I believe? So lost!) and I still have to complete it ^-^;; In my defense I can only play on Fridays... (studies >__>)
It's a truly complete game, IMO. The music and the story, the graphics... it's all great. Not my favourite game, though :)))
