Wrapping it up

It's the last week!  Final exams are being given and my room is being packed.  I've got a majority of things boxed up and ready to move to my new room, which, ironically, is my room from last year!  I've also had all our department resources getting dumped into my room.  I'm moving them all to the storage space in my new room to inventory them and

it's so awesome that you get so much time to just relax and plan your wedding. EXCITING! :)

That's about 18 to 19 hours assuming you don't stop for much more than gas and fast food.

If you get tired, just book a cheap room somewhere -- or at least grab a few hours of sleep in the car in a Walmart parking lot (they welcome travelers and campers). In the greater scheme of things, getting back Saturday morning rather than Friday night is better than falling asleep at the wheel!

I will definitely get a cheap hotel room somewhere if I get tired or do the Wal-Mart thing. Cindy and I took an hour nap at a Wal-Mart in Georgia when we drove and it worked out well.

I'm planning on 19 hours. I would rather just get it done in one go rather than stop, but I will if I need to. I don't really want to stay in a hotel room by myself, though, because that doesn't seem particularly safe. The only other time I did that, the whole AGC cheerleading team and parents were in the hotel, too. I've tried to see if any other Michigan people from work are driving back that want to drive "together" but no luck.
