First of all, my 4th was lots of fun. Mike's parents invited me to the cottage where they spend every July 4th week with several friends of theirs, so we sat on the beach and drank cocktails all day, grilled, had a bonfire with s'mores, and set off fireworks over the lake. Ooh, I love Samsonite luggage! Jon and I got the spinner kind as a gift from my gramma when we got married! :)

I ordered LUSH bath bombs online to give my bridesmaids. :o) And a few for myself, of course. I got a free one at the store a while back for buying so much Ocean Salt and I loved it (it was the avocado one) and I wanted some more to take relaxing baths in the midst of the wedding madness.

Awesome!! I gave my attendants LUSH bath stuff, too! :) And took a LUSH bath the night before. It really is relaxing :)

Great story: My box from LUSH came on Tuesday and it was fantastic. I wrapped the gift things and everything. Well, on Thursday, another box arrived from LUSH with the exact same stuff in it! I looked on my bank statement and I hadn't been charged twice. I called the number and told the woman what happened. She looked it up, said I had only ordered one, and that I just got a bonus box by mistake! She told me to keep it and enjoy the extra goodies.

How nice!

A thought that just crossed my mind...I cannot believe you and Mike are getting married soon! It is getting sooooooooo close. Who knew that a few years ago he was one of your good friends and we would hear stories about him from high school and when you would go see him at home from college that you guys would be getting married in just a few weeks? Did you ever think that Mike would turn out to be your husband one day? I never thought Curtis and I would ever get together (more because of him then me!). ahhhhh...I am just so happy for you guys and sorry we can't be there!

Mike was always positive. He claims that's why he never seriously dated anyone else - because he planned to marry ME, so there was no point, apparently! I had no idea until a couple years ago, when I realized that I just liked being with him better than anyone else. :o) Then I got to thinking that he's always treated me better than any other boyfriends, and we have always agreed on things like religion, money, and kids. I was like, "Okay, maybe we should get together!"

I can't believe it either. It's all gotten very real lately, but I'm super excited!
