The sucky thing about (potentially) moving is the Disney issue.  I would want to keep my annual pass, but it would mean staying overnight for running events.  And that is expensive!

Anyway, I just wanted to put that thought in writing.

Long story short, our charter school board has opted to give our charter to another management company.  (I currently work for a wonderful charter school operations company called Imagine Schools.)  So, I won't have my same job next year, which is beyond devastating because I have poured my heart and soul into this school for three years.  Everyone ( Read more... )

I know I say this to start off every entry, but school is crazy!  Between field trips, getting ready for my sub during our Arizona trip, a major fundraising push, and the FCAT looming, it's just too busy.  My to do list every day is at least 10 items, in addition to teaching and attending meetings.  I need more time!  I'll be there late every day ( Read more... )

So lately I've been doing my 30 Day Shred DVD and I think it's really improved my endurance.  I say this because last night I went for a walk that actually became a run much longer than any I've done in the past three years.  This kind of inspired me to start running again (I used to run in college) and to register for a 5k at Disney!  They have ( Read more... )

Ah, Friday.  It's so nice to be home relaxing.  Today at work was a bit nutty...
