It would have made a lot more sense too, right? Maybe not quite as dramatic, but certainly a lot neater - Norrington takes on a new sense of duty and purpose and Will and Elizabeth can be together at last. Was anyone else thinking, "dude, next time he sees her, she's gonna look way old"? I understand there was a post-credits scene involving them, but I didn't stick around to catch it.
Haha, that's one of the first things I thought, that she's going to be a grandma and he's still going to look the same.
I stayed because I figured they were going to have something at the end, just like the first two movies. It was basically just Will's kid (now 9 years old!) and Elizabeth waiting for Will to come back. Elizabeth looks exactly the same after 10 years, haha.
