I find that kind of interesting, because OotP was by FAR my least favourite book (although I dislike it less now than I did on originally reading it). Like, a LOT. What did you like about it so much?

I think Neville was supposed to have pulled the sword out of the (on FIRE) Sorting Hat. But yeah, that was kind of weird. I didn't even notice it at first because I forgot the goblin had taken it. I guess . . . the Hat stole it back? Whatever.

I hate Ginny/Harry and I always will. I thought I was like the only one, besides the insane Harry/Hermione shippers.

Yeah, I know, but won't Griphook be pissed when the sword just vanishes on him? I took it to mean Godric Gryffindor didn't really steal it and it did belong to him. Or something. If that was the biggest plot hole, we're probably okay.

First of all, many LOLs at your icon.

I loved OotP because it was the first time we really saw the cohesiveness of Voldemort. Before, he was always a threat, but all of a sudden we find that both sides are organized and shit really is going down. Lots of new, nifty characters. Umbridge especially - I love villains, and it takes a special kind of writing for me to really dislike one. Umbridge, I HATE Umbridge.

And for once, Ron is the special special! There's a decent chunk devoted to him, which is a nice change-up from Harrymania.

And God, yes, I loathe Ginny/Harry. I mean, wtf? It never seemed well written to me.

I totally agree with you on the muggle / mudblood registry thing. It reminded me of the idea of 'the banilty of evil' and (without trying to stretch it to much) the way eichman worked.

And I liked that the people who worked for the ministry now were the people who did before.
