Snowy mornings are beautiful so long as you don't have to go anywhere. It snows about once a year in North Carolina, and today we've actually got a few inches on the ground and almost everyone has the day off. There's one enthusiastic kid running around on the lawn - I guess the others are being made to eat breakfast and wrap up before they go

Though every other school in east Tennessee was canceled (or at least delayed), UT was running on its regular schedule. However, it was fun to watch the inauguration in overflowing library auditorium with lots of happy, applauding people.
