On The Suspended Colorado Teacher:

I started reading the story the other day and stopped dead when I saw the published picture of the teacher in question, obviously a lefty whack job who decided to use his classroom to spew his ultra-leftist opinion to his class. I saw the picture and immediately went into "profiling" mode. Yes, I judged him on his appearance. He looks like a ( Read more... )

You know i don't like fox news so until i hear exactly what he said(As in if he outright called bush a nazi-well thats just dumb.) As a geography teacher, he probably shouldn't be standing on a soap box. Now if he was a political science or history teacher, than i think his comments would be ok. I mean, its not exactly like Bush's foreign policy makes any sense from a pedgagogical foreign policy standpoint. So to critique him is quite fine. However, i think this kid is an idiot. He's 16 years old. He has to start thinking and acting on his own. He should have taken it to heart to disagree with his teacher and constructivley prove why he disagrees.

But yeah, the teacher in question is an ass for acting like he did.

Yeah...i am a lot more left than i used to be. I'm not that far left though. I'm not fucking batty. I just think that the neo-cons are fucking imbiciles who care little for the general well being of citizens. Basically anyone who is too far left or right needs to have their head examined. Politics is all about compromise. Moderate pragmatism is usually the way to go in my opinion. Though its much worse to be far right that far left. Those people eat babies, thats why their against abortion(j/k).

You're not THAT far to the left. I still think you're a closet Libertarian. You should go and take the quiz at www.lp.org. You'd be surprised how close to the Libertarians you are. No big surprise though, you lived with a frothing Libertarian through four of your most formative years in a place where there's enough stupidity to send anyone screaming to a thrid party... or a bell tower.

Oh no...i know that i'm a closet libertarian. I just disagree with certain points of the party, but as soon as they put out a candidate who can actually get at least 5% of the vote, i will vote for them. I'm just tend to be democratic when it comes to taxes, more or less.
