First, I'm so sorry you haven't gotten more comments on this, love. These were really interesting reactions to that neighborhood and I really enjoyed reading them.

Actually, your thoughts got me thinking about some of the reasons it feels a little too fluffy to me. It's that TEH also seemed to lack substance the same way the first two series do. That left HLV with one heck of a mountain to climb, but it also meant when it came down to getting Sherlock settled back into Baker Street, reconnecting with friends and so on, I'd already really done quite a bit of that, I guess, or had been looking for it and not quite getting it in TEH. So as lovely as TSOT was, I was also already like a kid on a sugar high going in ( ... )
