The flaw in the plan to start a new chapter in life by closing an old one

I don't know if anyone reads what I post here other than fic, but here's a bit of self-reflection anyway. Half the time I feel like I don't have anything of importance or interest to share; however, I need to feel as if I'm actually participating in life, so I hope someone will engage.

You are absolutely right--the analogy of starting a new chapter is, indeed, flawed (and impossible) Great insight.

I don't want to dwell on negative feelings, but so often I feel that I'm invisible, that people see that I'm there but that I'm too insignificant to engage with. That's why I always get anxious when I post a fic... because when I write something I'm excited to share it with other people, and I'm always afraid that I'll just be overlooked.

*hugs* you're not invisible, my dear Deb. And your writing is beautiful and well received. Do you have any new stories percolating in your mind? Do you make an outline?

Do you have plans for your b-day. :D The 29th? Cool.

Oh, and what susako said below is very true. You can always have a plot twist to your story. :)
