First of all - oh, it's Sir Sherlock now, is it? Nice little touch there - t'was bound to happen eventually! :P

I do love the way you write John; Series 3 left me wanting to smack him, but you always make me forgive him. I always love 'what-if' fics and this was great and very smart. The second one broke my heart; the possibility that John would be hard-hearted enough not to forgive Sherlock is a difficult one to swallow and I hate Sherlock being lonely. But the ending makes everything better; it's like the ultimate ending and it's a great way to bring them to the finish, with the idea of contentment and happiness.

Oh, and truly? I wouldn't be able to resist Sherlock gazing through his fringe at me either. ^_^

First of all, I'm so so sorry for the lateness of this reply! Life and work have been CRAZY.

Anyway, thank you so so much for your detailed comment! Yes, it is indeed 'sir' Sherlock now; you are I believe the third to comment on that fact, lol. I mean come on- we know Mycroft will wear him down eventually, right?

Honestly, I was disappointed in John this season as well. My heart just went out to Sherlock the entire time. Although I've always had an easier time writing Sherlock's POV for some reason, I guess I relate to him somehow. I live in hope that John will start acting like the adorable Watson we all grew to love during the first two seasons.

I wouldn't be able to resist Sherlock either,with those *eyes* and that hair and that - voice. Ahem. Enough said there.

Anyway, I appreciate your comment, especially as your the only one on LJ! I did get some lovely ones on AO3, so it's all good. Thank you!
