American Doll Posse World Tour

Flying into London Heathrow several days ago I am reminded of an odd conversation that took place back home within the last few weeks, with Buzz - an old colleague of my Dad’s.  Dad was always making trips to London through my growing up years.  I somehow felt closer to him as I disembarked at Terminal 3.  My mind dials back to a not too distant ( Read more... )

Pip! I think your father would want you to have a good time with your friends on the tour. I think the music is absolutely ESSENTIAL for you Pip. You need the music to help outlet your anger. Keeping it locked within yourself is a sure path to illness, and I don't want to see that happen to you. I know you understand how important you are to me, and everyone else who loves you. I hope to see you soon! Love Ellen

PS: Did you remember that Olive Oil I asked you to pick up for me in Italy? I wanted to make something special for Lily and Ben.

I'm so disgusted with our government that I will not wear anything saying "U.S.A." or any other patriotic crap.

My grandfather was a WWII vet. That's when fighting was for a real cause, if they taught the truth in history classes.

Here in Arizona, Cardinals' football player Tillman died in Iraq. The reason for his death was lied about, and when the truth came out, it angered the majority of the population in Arizona. First we heard it was in combat. Then we were told it was friendly fire. If we can't trust the government, who can we trust?

The USA has been in existence for a while now. You shouldn't let one presidential reign cause you to become unpatriotic. There's nothing wrong with loving your country. The beauty of the US is that you have the freedom to disagree with the government and say, "Hey, fuck the prez, but I love the US." Please be American! You can't help it, after all.

I guess it's the social worker in me that draws this stuff out...I could never be Republican!

I guess the thing I do have to be proud of here is the fact that I can vote for a new pres when those elections come around. And, I can honestly say, "I didn't vote for him!"

Yeah, I can't help where I was placed...might as well make the most of it...maybe a trip to the Grand Canyon is in order here...

i feel like i was just invited by you to a family gathering where i didn't know anyone there but you. eeck. i stay close to you and hide beside you like a shy child hiding behind her mom cause of all the strangers.

to the one above me "If we can't trust the government, who can we trust?" is that a trick question? trust and government don't even belong in the same sentence. sorry, but true.

i read between the lies... i mean lines... but sometimes it seems pointless to talk an argument into circles. for what? what changes? punching holes in reality sometimes only leaves me with a fractured fist.

I was merely stating my viewpoint. That's all. I really don't want to stir up any problems here. I can totally respect if others think differently than I do.

Oh, I wasn't stirring anything up. Just stating my view point too. No damage done. :)
