I looked at him, not shocked but thrown off and suspicious because I have intentionally not exposed my last name, for my own reasons.

I answered him ‘Who wants to know and why?'.

“I'm sorry, I'm Connor and I believe I knew your father.”

‘You do, do you?  Well, Connor, do you believe you knew

I don't think I'd trust this guy, myself. Especially if he says he worked with Dad, but Dad never spoke of him. But, hey. Maybe Connor will surprise me?

It's hard to know, these days, who a person can trust. Therefore, be careful...I'm unsure of Connor. Seems like a hard one to read...there's obviously more than meets the eye.

When I read the start of your post, I started thinking about a horrible train crash that just happened yesterday here in Melbourne.

You can trust that things are going to happen the way you planned, And stay on track, but you never know where some guy is gonna drive his truck right infront of your train and derail you.

I really love the writing style in the beginning of the story...how a scar from someone on a train reminds you of a scar on a man's hand that brings us to the party scene. I love being able to follow along with you on your journey's in this way...it's awesome!
