Oh, my word this was so good. This storyline really hits home for me - my father was laid off several weeks ago and it doesn't look like he'll go back to work any time soon. The line Sam says about how kids overhear things - I have much-younger siblings too and the absolute worst is to hear them so scared asking if we're going to lose our house because they've heard my parents talking.

Anyway, long story short - this was amazing, you're a wonderful writer!

Ouch. Sometimes 'Glee' just touches on issues relevant to what's going on in watchers' lives- and one has to stop and think. It seems so real. I hope that your family is able to deal with everything. *Hugs*.

I work with kids and I hear about their families, their home lives, and whatever else is going on. Also, sometimes they are taught something that even the teacher considers complicated and they comprehend it a million times easier than the teacher. It's crazy.
