Day 3; Your favourite Character;

There are two Disney characters, that has followed me through my 47-year life.

Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse.

I've never been fond of the original characters for some reason, though I love Disney movies and Disneyland.

There are so many characters I do love though, I don't know if I could pick a favourite.

I remember seeing Donald and Mickey as a little girl 40+ years ago in B/W tv with my parents.
I loved that.

We never watched Disney when I was growing up. It was on at the same time as football and since my dad controlled the tv, we watched football. I did watch a lot of Looney Tunes cartoons though on Saturday mornings. The Disney stuff I came to appreciate on my own later in life - the very first date I ever went on with my hubby some 27 years ago now was to see The Little Mermaid in theatres. The ticket counter girl looked behind us to see if we had kids with because she couldn't believe two twenty-something adults were going to see a kids movie alone. :)

I can envy people, children and grown-ups, that can watch a Disney movie for the first time.
I love the new movies and buy the DVD´s and watch them.
But being able to watch an old movie for the first time...I miss that ;)
