my very fav trashy 70s sci fi is definately The Omega Man with Charlton Heston. It has an awesome music score and the scenes where he drives thru the utterly deserted streets of a huge city during daylight have had a huge impact upon me. It remains my favourite post apocalyptic movie. The good versus evil is satisfactorilly ambiguous which is always pleasing. Ultimately the cheesy references to religion and the inference that Heston is a christlike saviour is hilarious and gets my thumbs up every time :)

I have a few ideas, but do you know about Cult Sinema Monday? If you're in the area and have the night free, this could serve as a regular quenching of your trashy seventies thirst.
