Wow, it's been over a year. What's made me randomly come back to this? I think its my ever present desire to relieve any kind of tension I have in the form of writing. I have to get it out somehow, and always, whenever I couldn't think of a specific person who could understand in the specific way I wanted them to, I'd write about it here. I ( Read more... )

You're right Vivi, we HAVE learned a lot. (It'd be kinda sad if we didn't). But I think basically all it comes down to is the uncertainty we all have of our futures. And considering that college is usually where you make or break your futures (usually but not always), it's natural to worry and find disatisfaction with things. And I don't think I'm losing confidence in general, I just feel that if all this time and energy is spent learning things that we don't passionately care for anyway, then I'd better have some sort of guarantee that it won't go to waste ( ... )

May I just say you're one of the coolest people ever, in the whole history of the universe? Yea?

Just take it one day at a time Rashi. It may feel like a difficult time, but things will get better. Everything takes time!

Keep it real! Let's have a fun Sunday outing in the morning! Remember!

"Because money doesn't buy happiness. It's a rational mind and an even disposition that knows how to spend money well, that buys happiness." I totally get what you mean, I'm in this position where i know what i want to do with the rest of my life but everything around me is getting serious to quick and sometimes i think I'm the one getting to serious and feel like i don't adapt to my surroundings. But honestly it takes time to figure yourself out. And it's exactly what you said, in order to make people and any type of situation a lighter or happier mood you need to be happy with yourself and confident about yourself. Patience can be a pain but it's a great virtue.

Happy thanksgiving :)

Thanks, and you're right, but patience, when stretched for a long period of time, tends to thin. And I guess that's the hardest part, making sure it doesn't break.

But thanks Rad.

By the way, how have you been? I haven't heard from you in like a million years! I hope all is well with ur studies and ur family. Happy thanksgiving!
