Wow. That is really powerful - and possibly the best argument for allowing gay marriage I have ever heard. And the best of the Golden Rule, as well.
Just... wow.
When I heard about Prop 8 and the banning of gay marriage and so on in California I was just... shocked. I am so glad I live in Canada. But really... California. California! That's like... I dunno. Just unbelievable. I am definitely spreading this video around.
Hmmm... I could argue that and blather on about black people voting for a black guy because of hope and seeing him and assuming that he isn't going to be derogative to them based on their own skin colour and so on... but I suppose in its purest essence/technical definition even that is still racism so... whatever. ^^ I'll just waste pixels instead. :DDDD
Oh! And statistics can't be trusted. Do you have a ratio comparing white voters for Prop 8 to black ones, in relation to the proportion of white or black total voters? *strokes chin and looks creepy-statistical* Sigh. Sorry. IB Geography does strange things to ones mind.
Except I'm in a Canadian boat. *feels sad for all Americans*
That would've been like me voting for Hillary Clinton because she's a woman and so am I. Or better yet, me voting for Sarah Pailn, how about that one?
I'm horrible with numbers so I can't remember exactly. But I have read several reports, all showing the statistics with the white voters and everyone else.
Thank you for posting this. It is so needed that people not directly affected by these questions speak up. I will definitely post this on my journal and spread the word. :)

Apparently, the higher ratio of black people who got out to vote for Obama also voted in favor of prop 8. It pissed me off.
The stupid idiots voted for Obama because he was black, not because of his politics. It makes me mad.
I don't care who anyone is, if you voted for Obama because he's black, then you're racist. Pure and simple.
Anyways, it was shock for me too. So we're in the same boat.
