Besides getting slapped in the face more than once, terrorized by the entire crew, threatened with any manner of things, and forced to walk the plank, I guess I was treated with good form...after all, they were not able to kill me.

Much to the dismay of others, that nasty experience has not made me like pirates any less, though.

I for one am pleased to hear that you have not allowed this dreadful experience to sour your outlook. After all, some pirates are not so completely devoid of decorum. For instance, I always apologize to my victims before forcing them to walk the plank.

Not so much arranged where I live, but suggested. Back in England, there are arranged marriages all of the time, but I will have none of it.

I will marry whom I choose to and that is that.

Marriages are seldom arranged or suggested where I am from. For that I am glad.

I'm very glad that we don't have arranged marriages where I'm from. My parents never would've picked Eric. They hate his guts.

My parents don't want to understand either. They blame Eric for everything that's happened to me the last few years and arent even willing to come see their grandchildren.
