There could be more to it. You don't say if the child was planned or not. Some people would feel pressurised to stay together if an unexpected child came along, then if the child passes they wouldn't want to keep trying with the relationship.

Even so, within the day is harsh. Far too harsh.

yeah, thats what gets me. as i said - if it had been a week or at least a few days it more understandable, mind you in some ways that quick is understandable. Still, it sucks and i think we can all agree on that!
