The odyssey draws closer to conclusion

I was accepted to Stony Brook School of Medicine.

I got into medical school!

I still have a lot of health care admin/policy programs to hear back from, but now I have two very solid, and very different, options. Now we begin to make the difficult decision about which direction to head next...

Stony Brook like Lon Guyland Stony Brook? That's down the road from where I used to live!

That's the one! Was it okay living there? It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere.

It's definitely smack dab in surburbia, but you've got Sunken Meadow (ah) and the ferry to CT in Port Jeff (I think it's still a vehicle ferry as well). I grew up in Greenlawn not far away, and my mom took some classes there. Very very soft spot in my heart for Long Island - how long will you be there? I will visit!
