If you'll peruse the archives you'll see that Ethan and I had this very same arguement something like ten months ago. I side with Pink Floyd, their music is overall more revolutionary and better made.
a) You can't make a poll because you don't PAY for you lj account. Silly Silly. b) I'm gonna be an undecided. Out of spite. Plus. I'm too tired to read the rest of what you wrote.

Jimi Hendrix's music changed alot over his career, he started as a blues psychadelic rocker when he was with the experience, which was where it was basically a four person band (three members, plus prodoucer had a lot of work on songs) and they all made decisions, then he had the 5 peice band with 5 different members, and that was his Funk days. Then he had just Jimi Hendrix with two separate drummers, buddy guy and mitch mitchel, his original drummer, Plus his childhood best friend on bass, which was his R&B phase. If his final album was actually finished before he died instead of the unfinished snippets we hear was released (which mind you are still FUCKING incredible) he would have been bar none the greatest musician and songwriter of all time. Let alone, who knows what would have happened if he lived to 30, let alone lived to today.
