Is that the place downtown by Cedars?

Indeed, it is!

The current owner hopes to fix it up and maybe make a sort of theater/movie theater out of it.

Did you get to go into any of the other buildings? The place next door is really cool. Especially in the dark. When your only light is a cel phone.

I bet that was... fun.

No, we just went into the theater. The guy who owns the property is going to use the conservation report that we're working on right now as part of his restoration plan or something.

does 'burning' count as a solution? Cause, mm... after a good razing, those problems will be gone.

Perhaps I don't have an eye for conservation, but that place looks beyond all hope and repair.

Still! I envy your opportunity to explore neglected ruins, even if they are of the modern variety. Did you find any dwellers, kin to the kind that live in the buried cities beneath modern cities?

The outside is in decent enough shape. Just needs some cleaning and some minor repairs. But, the inside? It's just... depressing. That's the best way to describe it.
We went down into the basement and the walls and supports and everything down there is just... shot. When the rebar in reinforced concrete is completely exposed and completely rusted, there's not much anyone can do.

We actually didn't find a single living (or non-living) thing there. I was hoping to see at least a rat or two, but not such luck. We didn't even find any hobos.

I never saw that place. or knew if I did. I explored a part of town, on the north side, that honestly looked like a post-nuclear war scenerio. it was creepy. ask josh, he was there.

Yeah, there are a lot of creepy places in Youngstown.
Youngstown is always dressed up for Halloween.
