yes, a girl in ethiopia was rescued by lions when these guys tried to kidnap her, according to the story.

she might've been prey, but i enjoy thinking that the lions saved her. animals know much more than humans will admit.

i love how there's a photo of a lion with the caption "police do not know the sex of the lions". what the fuck?? that's hilarious! would it make a difference in whether or not experts & locals agree on if they were planning to eat her?

I think it is ridiculous how the 'expert' they asked was basically a poacher. But yes, lions are sensitive emotional creatures, and could want to intervene upon hearing the cries and sensing the distress without 'mistaking the sounds for the mew of a baby lion.'
