Where's my baby gone?

It was Lori's 6th birthday yesterday; it didn't start well and I woke up feeling dreadful with some kind of chill or whatever, anyway - she had a lovely day, got lots of lovely presents, had a fantastic birthday party and went to bed at 8.30 pm thoroughly birthdayed out.

Aww - I was the teenager from HELL I tell you!! So I deserve everything I got coming - LOL! I used to live in my bedroom, hardly utter a word to my parents, slam doors, I was a total bitch.

I do spend all weekend with her; I think it's because I've been at home with her from the start - no child minders or nursery (other than nursery school) so I miss her even when she's just at school.

Tis a mother's burden. Of course, that's when I'm not screaming at her to bugger off back to school EVERY time she's off on school hols ...............

Oh yeah I know Sylv, let's just hope it's not as bad as I'm expecting :/ It just amazes me how independant they are at 6 years old...

Mind you - she wouldn't let go of me tonight as she went to bed - she wanted me to sleep with her!!!! I think she's been reading this damn journal .......

Awww honey - it does go fast. Just enjoy it and enjoy her as much as you can. You're a good mum, Mares - she'll always remember that!

Aha!!! I wondered who'd notice that!! Yeah - my friend Kate with her (then) 4 week old baby, Lilia. I was not at all broody.
