(no subject)
As usual, i am BUSY... But happy, so it's okay! :}
On thursday night, g_ram invited me over to his pace to watch The Audition... which was... so-so. I would have like it much more if i hadn't read the back of the box since 4/5 of the movie is the male lead character being a masochistic pig, and the female lead character being timid and demure, despite the mystery and creepy people that surround her. But since i knew she was really a psycho thanks to the back of the box, I spent the whole time waiting for her to flip out. As a result, it was mostly boring since there was no mystery to it, so i barely watched it all and just chatted with Graeme and evilyn13 who came and curled up on the couch with us (cheekydevil did not join the couch party!) Trish got the job she applied for at the Sony store, so it was a bit of a celebration too! Go Trish!! :D
Well, the last 20 minutes oft he movei were great though. I want an apron like the one the girl wears when she tortures people! After that, Graeme put Ichi the Killer on, but we mostly chatted through it all... Some of it looked rpetty disturbing (mostly rape scenes) I've seen a few films with scenes like that, and make me really uncomfortable and creeped out. hybridstigmata showed up around 1 since we were going to hang out a bit too, and then on the car ride, he phoned up xmannequinx, who was still awake, and we had a sort of three way phone conversation.
And yesterday i went to go see Goblet of Fire with malyss! It was pretty good, though after seeing Mirrormask a few days earlier i was not as impressed as i normally would have been! It was paced really well, and the actors are getting much better each time! Then i went home since i'd forgotten my wallet the day before! Cyril lent me 5 bucks for transit... which i ended up spending on food since i was hungry (plus later Alyssa got me an ice cream sundae! woo!). I walked home since it wasn't too far, and i scared myself by throwing a few pieces of popcorn over the burrard street bridge... It was dark so they just disappeared over the edge...
And in the minutes i am not doing anything, i am dong homework and other work. Phew :)
