I-pod people, I have questions.

Jun 27, 2006 21:37

I had a lucky day yesterday, I found a 4GB I-pod Mini on the side of the road. It seems to still work. But since I found it on the road I have no instructions, cables, Or even a clue how to load stuff. Anyone know what connectors I chould buy? I bought a car charger for it at bestBuy so I can charge it. But that's all I have so far.

Apple 6-pin to USB or Firewire, depending on your hardware.

You'll need to get a copy of the latest iTunes for your 'puter, so you can load music. It's downloadable - free - and it's pretty intuitive.

I have a 20G, and the "instructions" that came with it...well, suck. I had to figure everything out myself, which wasn't (thankfully) too hard.

Oh, and the Firewire will also charge the iPod from your 'puter, but it takes *forever*.

Congrats!

dude, now THAT is a good score. much grats to you!!

yeah, they about covered it. I'm thinking ebay might be your best bet. Just make sure the models are exact (shuffle vs mini vs whatever). I think each type has a totally different mounting/charging/stuff. *psst, its too damn early. that is all. :)
