I need to go ahead and make a website while I'm not working to house various creative projects. I'm not opposed to paying for a host, but would prefer a pretty easy WYSIWYG editor to be included. Y'all are a generally really creative, resourceful group of people. What host would you recommend?

I've only worked with two hosting companies before -- Laughing Squid, a small-time hosting service that catered towards sites owned by individuals (though they were kind of pricey compared to "big name" hosting companies) and bluehost. I had fine experiences with both. I don't remember whether or not they came with an editor, but I downloaded a free editing program called Taco HTML that I still use today (it's really nice because it lets you preview sites as you edit your html.)
Hopefully this was at least a little helpful!

A site to stay away from: GoDaddy. I had to use it once when designing for a client, and I wanted to go to GoDaddy's office and punch their manager in the face. WORST website ever.
