Hey, I'm glad you got reviewed! And the reviewer seemed pretty perceptive for the most part. But I didn't think it was fair to say "a rote set of predictable images". Okay, maybe they've seen some similar things before, but there's nothing "rote" about your work. I mean, it's obviously from the heart, from real experience. Your observations are important and they'll continue to be important as long as the situations that produced them exist. That's just my long-winded way of saying the reviewer could have given you a little more respect. :)

I'm actually doing better right now than I was over the past few weeks. The big ol' Box of Coolness you sent me really helped! By the way, I'm almost done putting together the package you'll be getting in return... I just have to decide which poems are going in and finish assembling the mix CD.
