I like that the pointy bits are sparse in the one area, it looks like the pseudopod bit grew out of the dense spiky bit and hasn't had a chance to grow more spikes yet!

I've also made the more sparsely spiked area longer, so the spikes are a good three inches and at the base they're just about an inch long.

holy crap that's just awesome. I'd totally want something like that decorating my house if there wasn't the whole paranoia thing where someone would come in and clobber me with it. xD the colors/stain is very nice. I have a thing for wood/wood grain. :0
