I think that they are using an 8 heads scale, instead of 8.5. It's a tad more realistic for a typical (re: dumpy) male build, but most of what I'll be using it for is the muscular structure in the forearms and back.

It may tempt me to stop drawing waifish elf boys, but maybe only temporarily.

I have one and yes, that picture looks kind of squished. It is a little more muscular than the average person, and thighs do seem slightly large, but I wouldn't call it stocky or fat.

The biggest test of artwork is when other people not only like it and will fondly stare, but will drop serious cash on it.
It's the closest I've come to a religious experience not involving Japanese candy. Like a back rub, foot massage, new clothes, and a A+ grade all in one.
