I especially love the textures in this piece and how the colours transition from the sky to the ground.

I was trying to make it look much less formal by adding more layering to the sky and such. Also, it's really hard to get the red clay soil color right, so that took a few re-painting tries.

Wow, this is really nice. It's so funny to me that I'll see weird pieces from you like a head eating itself or a skeletinized animal or something and then you paint something traditional like this. So many artists I know can paint guys having sex and yet ask them to paint a house in the woods and they can't do it.

I'm having a lot of wandering-time trying to figure out just what it is that I actually want to paint. I suppose the upside is that I should, in theory, be able to paint anything once I am done with school.
