I've never liked large paintings, and I'm starting to understand why. For beginners, there's the weight and awkwardness of moving a giant slab of canvas supported by poplar boards, especially when one side is coated with generous daubs of wet paint. Thank goodness I've got a giant blue onesie that you see car guys wearing. (Its my Kaylee costume.)

"Large paintings are intimidating. When you see one in a museum, they are placed in a large room so a viewer can get away from the thing."

This had me busting up laughing... you could have totally turned this into a Terry Pratchett-like paragraph about paintings.

I should create a device whereby large paintings can follow easily disoriented people around in large galleries. That would be Pratchett-like.
