I decided to post these.
Working on thumbs for the Winchester Mystery House, which I'm doing a bit of illustrating on for Conceptual Illustration.
Just to prove that I'm really really really busy.
I like this idea. I need to re-enforce the ghost-quality of the figure against the wall.
Really lukewarm on this layout- I just love cheesy ectoplasm-brand mysticism, like you'd see in the late 19th century. So I had to throw a crystal ball in and use the seance room behind the heads. Blah.
Found a lot of photos around of this greenhouse structure as seen from above- it must be on the tour. I tried to translate it to being simultaneously inside a labyrinth, and being a sort of Snow-White type tomb for a ghostly figure. Also lukewarm on this one.
A photo of one of the bedrooms provided the reference here, I cranked up the lighting a bit to throw a phantom's shadow onto the covers of the bed. I love how the headboard seems to say "NOM NOM NOM SLEEP HERE."
Hockey game tomorrow. Hooray!
