So due to the combination of Christmas, New Years, getting laid off, and moving- my talktime on the phone to say happy holidays and deal with various things has run me up 100 minutes over my plan. I'm looking at a bill of at least $100 this month

Hey, what's your plan? I know with T-Mobile you can log in to their website and disable text messaging. At the very minimum, you can stop getting unwanted texts.

Verizon. I'm fairly certain I can't NOT receive messages... It's ok, I'lll bite the bullet. This happens every year at Christmas- this is just the most severe it's ever been. I have plenty of savings. I'll just dip in a little more.
