The reading list continues

Since I've been laid off, I've had enough time on my hands to read all the books on my giant To Read Eventually list. Most of them are classics that have made it to numerous Required Reading lists for schools. The rest are just books I want to read before I die. The list I posted last week is mostly through. I'm on To Kill a Mockingbird right now. ( Read more... )

dude being able to check out their books. it's like heaven.

that and it's the only sumer job i've ever considered.

that said, i'd see Mr Britt Butler for Unbearable lightness, he gave me my copy.

I have the Lord of the Rings series, some pratchett (though I don't know what you have read), know how I can get my hands on the Dragonriders of Pern and The Once and Future King.
My sister works at Barnes and Nobles in NC and she doesn't buy books anymore, she just checks them out of the store. It's a pretty neat policy.

* several with genuine English illustrated covers!

I used to have a copy of The Unbearable Lightness of Being at my house. I know that doesn't really help.
