Supposedly I get $39.99 credited to me if I renew my Verizon contract for two years. Thoughts? Opinions on this and other phone companies?

I've always been a strong believer in Cingular (At&T). They've been good to us, the reception's amazing, and they work off of SIM cards so you can get pretty much any phone under the sun to play with. Plus, we've worked out a kickass bundle with them where we've got our internet and cellphone through them and we're saving a bunch. It's DSL, but you can make it so you don't have to have a phone line. It's also faster than any internet I've ever been on.
I'd like to reiterate the reception aspect: it's really really good.

I think that Verizon gets the best reception out of Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. AT&T doesn't get service in my apartment complex at all, even when you're outside. Sprint and Verizon, and I know that people with Verizon get good reception where Sprint's reception is spotty.

But, I know you don't text and don't have a texting plan but can't block texts on Verizon, and you can do that with Sprint-block all incoming and outgoing texts.

Also, comparable plans with Sprint usually cost less than they would with Verizon and AT&T, and from personal experience, their service has gotten much better around Atlanta. I get service on campus, pretty much every where in my apartment (it used to fade out in my bathroom and kitchen), and everywhere outside in my apartment complex.
