I got tix to see Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood in concert (TOGETHER!) at Madison Square Garden in February!!!! Two artists about whom the term "legend" is not an exaggeration.

I was a teenager when Cream and then Blind Faith were actually still together. I adore them both (Eric and Stevie, I mean), and I'm sure that like fine wine, they have only improved with age...

Oh, and don't feel bad; Clapton is by far the more famous. Winwood is best known for songs like "Gimme Some Lovin'", "Higher Love", "Can't Find My Way Home", and songs with the group Traffic (like "The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys").
