“I like you a lot,” she adjusts accordingly. Sure, it’s no grand profession of love; she doesn’t just keep those in her pocket. But it’s still something.
I loved that part because it wasn't an "I love you" but it totally was, somehow.
Okay, I've been very anti-Jacksonville stories because they're all the same.
But this was marvelous, hands down. It was simple, honest, and this line "This is something you keep from everyone you know, which is exactly why he should have spilled it immediately." is possibly one of the best things I've ever read EVER because it's something that sums up Walter entirely. The title was what interested me in the first place and I must say that that in and of itself was an amazing choice.
You're definitely on my anti-Jacksonville exception list and I'm going to definitely read anything else you post!
What *did* Walter put in that bottle. I really enjoyed your story, it had the surreal quality that fits Fringe so well. I can see Walter, the ultimate Peter/Olivia shipper doing something to "speed things up".
