I am beyond exhausted but I need to get shit done. My breakfast in bed just arrived so I need to eat and then get a shower because I stink from last night.
So, what happened is that I took a bus on Monday night in London. Let me tell you it was the longest bus ride ever. There was also a trip on a ferry that was boring. I got to Paris at about 6.30am, jumped into a metro and walked to the Casino de Paris. It was 7am when I got there and there were already a lot of fucking people. Some of them had slept in front of the venue. I met a couple of lovely girls whom shall be my Paris concert buddies if I ever get to see them again.
We queued for hours and I saw Eddie and Medhi outside. When I saw Medhi, I knew the guys were about to come. A van with tinted windows pulled over and Lyn-Z and apparently Alicia (if the other people in the queue were to be believed).
I don't know what got into me but then I went to talk to Eddie because some people were saying the boys were already there and it wasn't possible because we had been there FOREVER and didn't see them get in.
He was the nicest to me. He told me the guys were still sleeping when he left the hotel and that they would be in at 4/5pm for soundcheck. We talked a bit about everything, Leathermouth, France, London, how glad I am that he's back with the boys.
Then he proceeded to dig through his pockets and hand me one of Frank's guitar picks. "I always have some in my pockets," said Eddie with a smile.
He also told me Bobbie and him are already working on new Leathermouth songs. There will be a new album soon (well, soonish). Also, he told me they wanted Leathermouth to be the opening act for the tour but they couldn't do it because Frank would be too exhausted to do both.
Well, that was an awesome moment. I could feel people glaring at me from behind, wondering, who the heck does she think she is and why is she talking to that dude we have never seen before. Yeah. The kids there didn't know much. They didn't know who Medhi was either. Some had never heard of Leathermouth. There were a lot of first timers and young ones in the queue.
When the doors opened at 7pm there was a big clusterfuck and assholes were trying to sneak in before the people who had been queuing all day. We rebelled and got in their way.
I got in after struggling with a security guard who wouldn't let me through and managed to secure a spot on the third/second row. I had a great view of the stage. No tall people in front of me. Nothing to spoil the fun. I was very happy.
LostAlone was good but I was bored after a couple of songs. They're not bad. Just not my thing.
Then, MCR came out and the venue got crazy.

Here are a few key moments.
Frank was on fire. He sung the "I'm not o-fucking-kay" part to me. It was surreal.
He raised his hand when Gerard asked who in the audience was now a parent. It made him smile (I smiled too, because it's impossible not to smile when Frank's smiling). He kissed his twins pictures as he left the stage.
Mikey was so fucking great. He smiled and made adorable faces.
Gerard was Gerard. He jumped a lot, rambled about how he loved it here and that we were crazy.
Ray was amazing. I usually don't see a lot of him during shows because I'm always Frank side but like I said, I could see everything from where I was standing.
Ray was beautiful and he played like it was his last show. He headbanged a lot and grinned. He looked at us in the audience a lot too.
Pedicone and Frank have this ting going on where every time Frank gets closer to Pedicone to play, they will both start laughing like idiots.
Dewees was his usual awesome self. He played us a big intro before the boys come back back for Bulletproof Heart.
I really was an amazing show. It's right there with the Planetary (Go!) and the Hammersmith one on my top list of gigs.
When the boys left, the security wanted us to leave but I was seriously dehydrated and that's when I spotted Eddie. I called him out and waved at him. He came over and threw a setlist at me.
As you can see, they were planning on maybe playing Vampires. :/
I asked Eddie for a bottle of water and he went and got two for me. Like I said, Eddie is awesome.
I got out of the venue and waited around for a bit. Medhi told us the boys wouldn't be able to sign anything, that there was an eight hours drive to the next city and they couldn't stick around.
We still waited for them to come out though, because that's what we do.
I saw Eddie again and thanked him for everything. I gave him a quick letter I had written for Frank (and all of MCR) while I was in the queue as well as a tablet of chocolate. We shook hands and he told me it was nice meeting me and that he hoped we'd see each other again. :D
I really hope everything makes it to Frank this time. The roadie whom I gave the Twizzlers to last time was there and being a douche and flirting with some bleached blond girl in high heels.
The boys did come out eventually but they just passed us without even acknowledging us. Well, that was until Frank got out and turned to us and smiled. He also waved at us. He was adorable and wearing a hat and seriously the tiniest person I have ever seen.
Maybe next time I will actually get to meet them. I really hope so.
I will update this post with videos as soon as they're uploaded. I got a few good ones and I cannot wait to watch them all again.
These are actually not that great. My camera was borked but then I managed to fix it just in time for Kids From Yesterday.
